About Your Hostess:

I've had this site for a ridiculous amount of time, lacking an "About" section cause I was too lazy to deal with it. How's that for an intro?

I was born a cold February morning in 1978. Being the only girl in the family, I was already winning in life. To my brothers- ha!!!

I go by many names. Justine. Monkey. Danger. Goob. Jackass. A combination of two or more of those. It's not so much a need for anonymity as it is lack of maturity. Let's be honest with ourselves people; I'm 30 years old and still claiming that "Danger" is my middle name. As for the monkey thing... I'm told that there is some built-in connection between geeks and monkeys. I became obsessed with primates in high school actually. My drama coach was convinced I had some sort of phallic obsession. Maybe so....maybe so. Anyway, the liking stuck since then and made it really easy for people to shop for me.

I probably watch too many movies, although I feel like I don't watch enough. Horror movies are definitely my fav of the genres. Not so much into tv. Frankly, I feel like there is far too much crap on. There's a few shows that I enjoy watching, but due to my tendency to get distracted easily, I have to rely on DVR to catch anything.

Like pretty much everyone else on the internet, I fancy myself a amateur photographer. I've embraced the fact that I'm not very good with a digital medium, so film is where it's at for me. I also tend to dabble in various artistic endeavors- basically, whatever can hold my interest. At the moment, that is wire sculpture. And stick figures.

I started this site many years ago cause I figured I had something to say. Turns out, not so much, but I enjoy having an outlet all the same to entertain the whole three people that come here, which is two more than my brothers' site, so once again, I WIN.

The first version of this site involved me updating the html file every time I wanted to add something. That lasted a whole week or two. I then used a lovely blog template that was mostly functional, but all the code was in italian. So two-thirds of those old posts were about how I couldn't troubleshoot my site because I don't speak italian. ... (The other third were strongly worded rants to various people.) At some point in my life, I switched my host to Livingdot, which opened a whole new world of templates in english. Amazing, truly.

As for the other stuff, I'm married with some kids, a cat, and a dog. I make it a point to not mention my kids too much because my brother once called me a mommy blogger with my whole two kid-related posts. So...there!
